    Company Founded

    After over two decades of experience applying technology to wearable and vision applications in both the defense and consumer industries, the company was founded to develop wearable/AR solutions that solve an unmet need for a growing population with low-vision diseases.

  • 2013-2016

    Beta Product Development & Testing

    After 4 years of engineering and user testing, we completed initial validation and testing of seeBOOST. Our goal was to improve vision without compromising weight and size, nor occluding peripheral vision.

  • February 2016

    Maxim Ventures invests $800K

    This visionary Silicon Valley semiconductor company recognized the significance of seeBOOST very early on, and became our first institutional investor.

  • October 2016

    First Early Adopter Customer

    First sales of seeBOOST prototypes to early customers in Dallas-Fort Worth. Our very first customer has been using seeBOOST over 6 hours a day for the last year and a half.

  • December 2016

    Partnership with Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind

    Dallas Lighthouse (DLB) management saw seeBOOST as an opportunity to create employment for visually impaired persons. DLB employees are provide the telephone support for our customers. DLB is also an investor in our company.

    Paris Silmo d'Or Winner

    seeBOOST won the First Place prize at Silmo Paris, the world's oldest, largest and most prestigious eyewear tradeshow. seeBOOST competed with products from the industry's leading companies.

  • December 2017

    seeBOOST Introduction

    We formally introduced the product after numerous improvements in optics and software, incorporating customer feedback.

  • May 2018

    Milestone: 100 users

    This validates seeBOOST's effectiveness in improving quality of life for persons coping with vision loss due to AMD and Diabetes. These users' ages range from 50 to 95 years.
